Site Content. Is there more to it?

As an operator of a website you often hear and read about having fresh, quality site content. What exactly is site content and is it really just all about articles and the information contained in articles, or is there more?

It is true that site content is primarily made up of articles and textual information. Look at just about any site on the Internet and you will find that most of the content requires the site visitor to read to understand what is being offered up.

Yet, thought this is true there are some
ther mediums that should be considered when building content for your website. Before we get to the other content types we should consider how the different ways people think and learn. Some learn best by reading, others by viewing and others by interaction. Knowing this will help you when deciding which type of content you should include on your site.

Here are three examples of content that can be used to deliver your message.

Textual Content – Content that is great for getting a lot of detailed information out can be descriptive and paint a word picture of the message you want to convey.

Video Content – Very hot content delivery method. Many visitors are comfortable with video having grown up with it. Great for building immediate rapport with the viewer. The message is dependant on the quality and length of the video. One consideration is that if your audience is world wide, not all visitors will have powerful enough computers to display video.

Graphic Content – Content that delivers a message through pictures. This can be art, cartoons or anything with visual appeal. The graphic should be consistent with your sites theme.

As you read this article you will certainly become aware of other content that is available and can be used to enhance the look and feel of your particular website. The challenge for you is to find the happy medium between having text, video and graphic content. A purely bland website has only one and might not be inspiring enough for a visitor to hang around.

Fast Money Making Online - With My Online Income System

I have had a lot of people recently asking me "Is there such a thing as fast money making online?" The answer is a little more complicated than a simple "yes" or "No"

There are countless ways to make money online, everything from selling on eBay, to selling your photos, to Affiliate marketing. However there are also a lot of scams out there that claim to make you money on the internet in no time flat with a large residual income.

Affiliate Marketing is one of the most popular fast money making online
strategies. An Affiliate is someone who advertises a product online and gets paid when a consumer uses their advertisement link to buy the product. There are a lot of different strategies for Affiliates these days. Some programs are using pay per click with Google ad words, some use email lists, and others use free methods in the form of article marketing. All of these methods take time to master but are a solution to fast money making online.

Don't believe the hype! There are a lot of programs for sale on the internet that claim to make you a ridiculous income in a very short amount of time. If it seems too good to be true it probably is. For the beginner, there will be a learning curve in any business, but even if a program claims "Fast money making online" it doesn't mean that it is a scam.

Here is why.

The people that sell fast money making online programs are in business to sell their product and often they will mentor people to create the success stories that you see on their website. That is why they can say that you will make a ton of money in one week, because it is possible, not probable but possible. In fact on average it will take you two weeks to a month to start making a bit of income online if you are following a good program. As you continue to grow your business and learn, you returns will become much greater. So, how do you know what to look for in a good program?

1.Find a program with an action plan. A plan will give you step by step instructions and will help you succeed quicker.

2. Good Support. Good support is essential to succeed. You will run into problems and have questions no matter how well the information is explained. Look for a program that has a dedicated forum for its users. You should not have to pay for support!!

3. Education. Education is the meat of most programs. They should offer you ample educational resources. You should also not have to pay for additional books. Make sure to find a Fast money making online program that has everything included in one price.

4. Price. don't pay too much! Personally I would not spend more than 70 dollars on any product that is currently on the market. Make sure that they have a money back guarantee included with the program.

So to answer the question: YES their is such a thing as fast money making online! However they will normally take you about two weeks to a month to start seeing profits. Be aware of any program that does not contain an action plan, good support and adequate education. Happy hunting!

Follow the contained link to 3 programs that I highly recommend. They are all a bit different from each other but they all contain the main keys that will help you succeed. If you click on each program you will be directed to their main website which each have a bunch of information. Happy hunting!! http://www.netbasedbusinessreview.com

3 Techniques to Put Your "Resource Box" on Autopilot

If you write articles then you also write resource boxes. Do
you think much about what you put in your resource box? In
fact, do you think much about the resource box at all?

If not, then you should. It is probably the most important part
of your article!

But what should you put in your resource box?

Here are 3 effective techniques to use your resource box to its
maximum potential. Remember, the resource box is a call to
action. Write it so your reader takes action. That action
should be either to
send an email or visit a web site.

1. Join Your Newsletter

Write a couple of different resource boxes that enable people
to subscribe to your newsletter. Make sure you have sign up
instructions, a link back to your web site (where they can sign
up there if they want to) and try to give something away for
free. Telling your visitor they are going to get something for
free when they sign up is a great way to encourage subscribers
to subscribe.

All this information needs to go in the resource box so make it
compact and catchy.

2. Sell Something

Got something to sell?

Tell everyone about it in your resource box. Make sure you
include a link back to the particular page in your site where
you sell the product or service. Make it as easy as possible
for them to purchase. Also make sure you include your email
address in the resource box so people can contact you for more
information.

3. Promote Your Affiliate Program

If you are in an affiliate program, you can promote it in your
resource box. Have a link to the product or service itself, or
better still, provide a link back to your web site that then
redirects to the affiliate program site. You will need to set
up a separate page to do this.

However, make sure the affiliate program site you are promoting
ties in with the content of your article.

The resource box is a powerful but underused marketing tool. By
using a number of pre-written resource boxes in these 3 key
areas you can put your resource box on autopilot.

This will mean more traffic, more subscribers, more affiliate
commissions and more sales!

The Science Of Selling

Whether you are pitching a proposal to a prospective client or writing copy for your web site, it is necessary to understand the science of selling.
In spite of what most people believe, selling is a science. And whether your know it or not, you are probably using some of the techniques of this science without even realizing it. Let's take a look at a few of the most powerful of these techniques.

Know your market
In all areas of sales, it is critical to understand the values and desires of your target market. What are thei
likes and dislikes? Are they motivated by price? Perceived value? Desire for status? Do they behave in a consistent manner? Tailor your pitch based on the information you gather about your audience.

Adapt to your market
If your audience is visually oriented, include lots of pictures in your presentation. If they are cut to the chase types include charts, graphs or bullet lists to summarize your most important points.

Listen to your market
Selling is not about talking, it is about listening. We have all dealt with the salesperson who goes on and on with their pitch, never really listening to our questions or objections. Do you buy from a person like this? Most of us won't. Listening is the key to the next technique.

Address their concerns
A serious prospect, one who is really interested will have some questions or concerns. Use the concerns of your audience to emphasize the strong points in your pitch. Pay attention to the words they use and echo these words in your responses.

Be prepared
Yes, I know it is the motto of the Boy Scouts. When the founder of the Scouting movement, Lord Baden-Powell, was asked what one should "be prepared" for, he replied, "For any old thing." This is excellent advice when applied to selling. Clients can be unpredictable. If you are prepared, this unpredictability can lead to many new opportunities.

Close, close, close
The best sales pitch in the world will be for nothing if you do not ask for the sale. People are not offended by someone asking for their business. They are used to it, they even expect it. So ask. In my coaching experience, this is the area where most clients fall short. Whether your use an overt close, such as, "Click here to purchase" or a more subtle approach, like, "Why not give us a try?", no technique is more powerful than asking for the sale.

These techniques are most effective when used in concert. They require effort and practice to be able to leverage their full potential, so take the time to study them. Look at your sales efforts, identify areas of strength and areas that could use a boost. Apply these techniques to the weak areas and put the science of selling to work for you.

MLM, Pyramid Schemes, and Matrices

Have you ever wondered what the difference is? MLM operators claim they're not operating a pyramid scheme. Matrix and "forced matrix" operators claim that what they have is better than MLM. So what are the differences?

Pyramid Schemes:

Pyramid Schemes are illegal in the USA, and probably abroad. We all know how these schemes work, or at least get the jist of the idea. A person (the originator) starts by sending a message to several people. Usually people he/she knows. The message in some round about way, will tel
everyone to send him $5 or so...and then send the message to someone else. All the while adding names to the list, and each new recipient must send money to the first person, second person...etc

There are a million variations of the Pyramid Scheme, but the main attribute that define a pyramid scheme ( also known as chain letter) is that there is no product, it's just people sending money. The term "Pyramid Scheme" is derived from the fact that it starts with one and the size of those involved increases as you move towards the bottom. On paper, it looks like the shape of a triangle, or pyramid.

Multi Level Marketing:

How is MLM different from a pyramid scheme? After all, on paper any MLM looks like a pyramid in reality right? The differences are very simple. In MLM there is a product being sold. Income is generated from "commissions". It's actually a pyramid scheme, except that the participants get something back...regardless of whether the people they refer actually pay for something...

In MLM, the participant always gains from their investment. The catch is in the value of the product that the participant receives. This is the reason that MLM is so big on the internet. Because, information can have a monetary value, and it cost the distributor nothing. So ebooks, software, newsletters...etc... these are the most common products used in MLM. MLMers have added tangible products as well, and home products were the first to use MLM as a primary marketing strategy.

The Forced Matrix:

With so many MLM programs on the market these days, originators have tried to make their programs more desirable than others. Hence the forced matrix idea. In a regular MLM program, your monetary gains are based entirely on how good you are at marketing the program. However, most people arent' very good. So it would benefit the less talented if they had help from the talented. Basically, if the number of people who can join under you is limited in any way...then it's a forced matrix. The idea being, anyone else you refer extra..will go under someone else. The best implementations put the extra person under one of the people YOU have under YOU. Hence it helps the person under you, which helps you too.

The term is tossed around a bit, and sometimes not used at all. However, that is what defines a forced matrix. Sometimes numbers are used to describe a forced matrix more thoroughly....like "4 X 4 forced matrix" for instance. Which might mean that you can only have 4 people directly under you and only 4 people under those 4 who you recieve commissions from.

There is a hi-bred idea that has become common now, where by a person can deliberately place a referral in another line of their choice. A sort of traffic control attribute that helps originators get their referrals interested. This has been an attempt to make regular MLM more appealing, and it has worked. In fact, forced matrix MLMers have even implemented the option in their own programs.

The benefits of either are about equal. With a forced matrix, you stand to earn an income faster, but increases in income are slower because your referrals get forced further down the line from you. With regular MLM you have a stronger base, and sustaining it is generally easier...but first profits can be slow. If you want a little income faster, go with a forced matrix. If you want BIG profits and are willing to work a long time for it, go with regular MLM programs.

The diversity offered by promotional bags

There are a plethora of different styles to choose from when selecting promotional bags for your campaign.

With such a diverse selection of promotional bags available – from business bags, laptop bags and backpacks to sports bags, travel bags, tote bags and cooler bags – the choice can be a bit overwhelming and it may prove difficult to know which bag is the right one to meet your needs.

tial customers at events such as exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, fundraising or sporting events.

The merits of promotional bags

There are many different styles of promotional bags to reward loyal customers or attract new ones.

Promotional bags offer many benefits for companies wishing to raise their profile and increase their brand recognition. This can be achieved by using bags as giveaways to potential customers at trade shows and exhibitions, as goodie bags for delegates at conferences, for internal promotional incentives or as corporate gifts to show appreciation to loyal customers.

Bags have the ability to fulfil all promotional needs,
egardless of the budget. They start at under ฃ1 each, which is ideal when the marketing objective calls for a product able to provide an instant but short term impact, and go right up the price spectrum to designer bags of superior quality, delivering high class marketing solutions.

As well as covering all the price points, promotional bags are available in an extensive range of styles, colours and materials. Some of the most popular types are: promotional backpacks, laptop bags, conference bags, travel bags, sports bags, tote bags and cooler bags. Each of these has its own unique features and benefits, with the final selection dependent not only on cost but also the profile of the target market.

All promotional bags lend themselves perfectly to personalisation with a company's logo or message onto the large print areas front and back. This is usually done by screen printing, transfer print, embroidery, foil blocking or blind embossing.

Another key benefit is the fact that promotional bags do not always have to be standard off-the-shelf items. Customised bespoke bags can accommodate a company's individual promotional design specifications, for little or no extra cost.

The Google Adsense Making Money from every Website!

My blog readers know I am always looking for easy ways to make a few bucks here and a few bucks there without doing a ton of work. The PPP revolution is kicking off in February of 2008. It's free to sign up and takes advantage of the switch by advertisers from the Major TV networks to small websites and blogs on the web. What is PPP? It's "Pay Per Play". Essentially it's a 5-second audio ad that plays as soon as your website or blog is opened by a visitor. Each ad is tied to your content, much like Google Adsense, excep
the visitor doesn't have to click anything. It is truly auto pilot at its best. In a hurry? See my Author Box below. I am a former broadcast journalist. I predicted that the TV networks were going to see a drop in viewers with the advent of Cable TV. That was a no-brainer. But, I also predicted that they would lose ad revenue to Cable and to the Internet as more and more homes hooked up to both. Unfortunately for me, I never thought of how to capitalize on the shift that has taken place as I predicted. In recent years, advertisers have been secretly placing products and ads in Hollywood movies through computer editing. They have gone back through older movies and, by computer editing, inserted products and ads that were not there in the original version of the flick. They are usually in the backround but visible nonetheless. Now, thanks to some shrewd thinkers, PPP has been developed and major advertisers are signing up in droves. It launches in February of 2008 but, for a limited time, they are signing up website and blog owners right now. The more they can get to sign up, the more they can charge for ad placement, the more money website and blog owners can earn for doing absolutely nothing. You can bet that slots will fill fast. Several of my webmaster friends signed up the same day I told them about it and they are contacting their email lists as I write this. There is a concern about annoying website/blog visitors. I placed their "test" file on one of my blogs for a week and got zero negative feedback because the ad only plays for 5 seconds. But, if your particular audience objects, you can simply remove PPP. They claim (but don't name) that one of the top five search engines has partnered with PPP. This should benefit websites and blogs who are signed up with PPP just as Google Adsense does. Of course, that remains to be seen but, since sign up is free, there is nothing to lose. PPP works on a bid management system similar to Google Adwords and will compensate publishers just like Google Adsense but with one critical difference - website and blog owners will earn revenue on 100% of their traffic with no clicks necessary! In case you don't know what Adwords is about, it's a program where advertisers bid on keywords that visitors are likely to click on when those keywords are searched or put in an advertisement. Part of the amount they pay, when their ad is clicked, gets paid to the website or blog owner who allows the ad to appear. PPP does exactly the same thing but without the clicks by visitors.

What Is A Payment Processor?

Payment processors store your money in the form of e currency. E-currency is the online value of your money in the form of dollar or euro etc.

These payment processors provide a platform to store and spend your money. The balance can be spent on various programs like HYIP or Forex or PTC and many more. Or the balance can be used to get a lot of products online and pay through the digital currency rather than credit cards and demand drafts. And for providing such service they charge you some fee on every transaction that is made. The fe
is mostly on the money you receive and not on the money you send. This is how digital currencies work.

Various merchants (online sites which have a business like HYIP or Forex etc are called so) encourage their members to use these processors as they can pay you for your activity into these processors only.

A few payment processors ask for verification using your Credit card or your Id details these are online payment processors which are more like online banks. But a few processors which are better called digital currencies don't need any verification. Both of them have difference in their working, which will be discussed later.

There are various methods to transfer your balance to your banks. A few online payment processors have direct transfer to your bank account, with a little fee depending on how much you want to transfer. A few more payment processors, digital currencies, don't have the option of direct wire transfer to your bank instead you can exchange your balance with a lot of exchangers that are available in the site and the exchanger will have his own fee and they will directly deposit it into your account.

The Myth of Sunk Costs

Having problems dealing with sunk costs and the time you have spent on this project and that investment?  Be unreasonable and make each decision as if there were no past attached.Having problems dealing with sunk costs and the time you have spent on this project and that investment?  Be unreasonable and make each decision as if there were no past attached.

Have you ever heard the expression, "Throwing good money after bad?"

Have you ever worked on something you knew was a bad idea, yet continued t
pour time and energy into it? And every time you tried to stop yourself from going forward, you said, "but I've got so much put into it!"

When we make decisions about the future, many of us base a good part of our analysis on the resources we have invested thus far. It's a natural thing to do; you've put time, energy, money, perhaps other things - and perhaps most important, your reputation - on the line, and it's quite reasonable to consider the totality of that investment when thinking about what you do next.

Actually, it isn't.

It isn't reasonable at all.

The only reasonable thing that to consider is the impact of your actions on the future.

Say you've spent the last several years and a bunch of money into a venture that simply isn't performing as you hoped. You haven't hit any of your success marks, and in fact, you're not sure the project is worth anything at all. So by and by a new opportunity comes along - one that is filled with potential, and in some ways seems like a perfect match. But you have difficulty letting go and jumping in. Something's holding you back and that something is the specter of sunk costs.

You feel like you shouldn't just walk away from all the cash and time you've already invested. You feel as if everything you've put in should somehow make the venture worth something.

I've got bad news for you...

It doesn't.

The venture may be worth something, but its value has nothing to do with how much you've spent to date. It is worth what it is worth, and for good, bad or otherwise, the amount of money, time... whatever... has nothing to do with it.

That's the fallacy of sunk costs.

Sunk costs are sunk.

They are gone.

They are spent.

The assets you've created may have some surplus value, like unused inventory. Or they may have salvage value, and just like the 5-1/2 tons of gold bullion on the HMS Edinburgh, that value might be quite large. You wouldn't just walk away from assets with salvage value like that. But in many cases the value of your sunk costs is a tiny fraction of the original price.

No matter the value, none of this has anything to do with decisions about actions you will take today, tomorrow and the next day, which must be weighed on the merits of highest and best use.

Ask yourself the question, "What is the highest and best use of my time?" or "What use of my time will make the greatest contribution towards my aims and goals?" Ask this question without regard to what has happened until now.

Perhaps you've spent the past three years developing some software that you thought was going to change the world. Three years later, it works, but not brilliantly. In the meantime, a competitor has built a superior solution that runs rings around yours in the lab and in the marketplace and things are looking pretty grim.

But you have just stumbled across a brand new business idea - that has nothing to do with your software business - that you can implement quickly and profitably. What do you do?

Many people, would, quite reasonably say, "I've spent so much on this product, and I'm so close - I'll just keep working on it.

But you know that would be wrong. It would not be the highest and best use of your time; it wouldn't give you the greatest return on your actions. That would be a decision based solely on your attachment to the past and your attachment to your sunk costs.

Be unreasonable. Make each decision as if there were no past attached. Make each decision based on your highest and best use - your greatest contribution. Evaluate each decision based on how it will impact your ability to get what you want, not on what you've spent to get where you are.

Architectural rendering consists of visual presentation of schemes or presentation of a design for a wide variety of purposes such as landscape projects, buildings, urban planning etc.

Ever since computer generated rendering service has existed, there has been less commercial demand for hand-drawn rendering service. Architectural rendering service is in great demand due to the application of computer graphic and the virtual image concept. For example: a 3D photoreal renderings play an important role in realestate sales. It help
in taking design related decisions well before the building is actually built.Architectural rendering is very essential in today's architectural marketplace. Through today's computer technology, architects and clients both get an opportunity to see the built view of a work that is in progress. Today's architectural rendering service can produce a wide variety of visual output formats before it is actually built. It can show exteriors and interiors of the proposed building with appropriate lighting figuring and full color. A computer generated architectural renderings consists of complex 3d modeling and rendering software that are used to create life like images with covering view points relating to lighting materials and camera view. Since 3D renderings are realistic, they are therefore very convincing. Also, suppose a planning officer ask you to make revisions to the scheme, it can be done easily. A 3D computer architectural rendering gives a chance to view a particular construction from different point of view.  This cannot happen in the case of a 2D rendering service which has just one form of a static image to be viewed. In a 3D computer architectural rendering, a fly-around animation effect can be provided for a better understanding of the entire view of the construction project.Computer architectural renderings can be considered as a highly valuable selling concept. One can accurately predict how exactly a product or any structure will look even much before starting the actual construction work. One can opt for "architectural rendering" as a career. It is challenging specially for those who enjoy working with architects and other design professional, who have great passion for understanding design and building process. These are the people who recognize the value of high quality design and they know exactly how to apply the right visual aspect by using the computer architectural rendering service. A 3D architectural rendering creates confidence in a new development and gives buyers an assurance of being successful in achieving their goal. The overall produced quality of the designs created with the help of the computer architectural rendering is highly valuable in nature and it is cost effective. Thus, one can focus on more critical design processes.

Many bags suppliers offer a bespoke service

Bespoke bags are in demand as companies recognise the advantages of giving their customers more freedom of choice.

Many bags suppliers have responded to customers' growing demands for promotional products that stand out from the crowd by offering a customisation service for bespoke orders.

Whether the marketing objective calls for inexpensive promotional giveaways or designer bags for use as corporate gifts, off-the-shelf standard bags are no longer the only option. In today's competitive marketplace, where so
many products vie for attention, companies have recognised the benefits of giving their customers and prospects bespoke bags.

Many bags suppliers now offer a complete bespoke service. As well as a free consultation service, their in-house design studios undertake all design and produce visual samples free of charge, which is then followed by artwork to factory specification. They are therefore able to design and manufacture bespoke bags to individual specifications – which can be simple or complex in design. Quantities do not even have to be large, but most suppliers will have some sort of minimum order quantity.

Apart from receiving a product that is unique, one of the other main attractions of bespoke bags is that they either cost the same or only marginally more than standard versions. Most kinds of bags are ideal for customisation through a choice of fabric, colour or finish. Added to this is the range of personalization options such as screen printing, transfer print and embroidery, as well as foil blocking and blind embossing.

The bags supplier will be able to discuss the endless bespoke possibilities and make recommendations as to which option will help create maximum impact and brand recognition.

Choosing a bags supplier

Choosing the right promotional bags supplier can make or break your marketing campaign.

Choosing a bags supplier for your next promotional campaign can at first seem quite a daunting task due to the large variety of bag brands, styles and finishes available. It is therefore important to partner with a company experienced in sourcing and supplying promotional bags.

Drawing on their product and market knowledge, a good bags supplier will offer a free consultation service to help you select the right bag to meet your n
eds – one that will be both appropriate and effective with your target audience, as well as in keeping with your budget.

But how should you go about finding a reputable bags supplier?

As with most items, word-of-mouth recommendation is always a good starting point.

The next step should be to contact one of the promotional products trade associations such as PROMOTA, BPMA and ISP, which will be able to provide details of member companies that are bags suppliers. As their members are obliged to operate to a strict code of conduct, you will be able to buy from them with confidence and peace of mind.

Whether you are after budget or premium promotional bags, you will want to protect your brand and company image. It is therefore worth speaking to a few bags suppliers in order to find one that is as passionate about their level of service as they are about the product quality.

Promotional bags are an ideal way to market your business, but the choice of supplier is critical if your campaign is to have maximum impact.

2. Selling digital products on Ebay

Here's another really quick way to earn money online. If you don't want to ship out physical items or take pictures, digital products is the way to go. "How To Find Your Niche on the Internet!"

It does not matter what you are looking for on the
Internet or what it is you are trying to accomplish
because, basically, everyone wants the same thing.

This is especially true for those of us wishing to do
business online although it really applies to even
those just seeking a community of like-minded people.

EVERYONE on the Internet wants:

1. To find more INFORMATION on a given subject.
or
2. To find PEOPLE with similar interests.

Many refer to this as your niche. Others involved with
on
ine business call it finding your target audience.

Give some thought as to why you want to reach people.

Once you know WHY you want to contact people, then
you will know WHOM it is you need to communicate with
and for WHAT reason.

So where should you begin your search?

As the question itself suggests the answer, you
should begin your quest for either information or
people by doing extensive research with your
favorite search engine(s).

I personally like to use Google, http://www.google.com,
and that is where I begin my research.

No matter which Search Engines or Directory is your
own personal favorite, just take that as your starting
point and build on it from there.

But, certainly, do not limit your research to just one
source. You should use no less than the top ten
Search Engines and Directories for your research.

For a list, via Auto-Responder, of the current
"Top 10 Search Engines and Directories!", send
a blank email message to:
mailto:Top10SE@emailexchange.org

Here is an excellent strategy to make use of
for your own quest for information or people:

1. Prepare a list of "Keywords" to find what you seek.

2. Visit each of the Top 10 Search Engines and Directories.

3. At each of the Top 10 enter your "keywords".

4. Visit and review the Top 20 to 30 results of the "keywords"

used in your search at each of the Search Engines
and Directories.

5. Weed out the useless or dead links.

6. Begin to form your community and bookmark all
the web sites that hold interest and promise.

This will give you a solid foundation from which to begin.

Your next step is to reach out and "touch" that community
of people that you seek by sending out email.

ALWAYS use email without resorting to SPAM.

Because SPAM is against Internet rules and because it creates
more problems that it solves. SPAM is should NOT be an option.

With the list you compile from your research, decide if it is
important to your quest to contact the web masters of each
of those individual web site.

This list of web masters gives you a good start on
which to start building your own little community of contacts.

Begin to compile a "Mailing List" of your contacts.

Next, build on your list by joining discussion or mailing
list groups that are already established. These are
communities that already exist and discuss topics of
interest by email.

Internet discussion groups may be mailing lists,
newsgroups, message boards, chat rooms or IRC type
chat channels, to name just a few possibilities.

Seek out the moderated type lists as they are loaded
with your Niche people. And, what you do on these groups
is quite simple; you participate.

You do NOT try to place ads as that is SPAM.

However, virtually all such groups do allow those that
participate to include a 2 to 4 line signature. Some groups
even allow larger signatures.

NEVER underestimate the power of your signature.

During a one-week period, my signature was the ONLY
form of promotion I used and in just five days we got
over 1000 visitors to our unadvertised web site.

For some good tips on using your signature visit:

How To Use Your Signature:

Here are some excellent FREE Resources to find and
join Free Discussion or Mailing List groups:

Search The List of Lists:

CataList, the catalog of 46,902 public LISTSERV lists!
http://www.lsoft.com/lists/listref.html

These groups are established and are full of members that
can fill your own particular Niche or Target Audience by
merely searching out those groups with like-minded people.

Do not overlook the power of Ezines and or Newsletters.

Whatever your interest, most certainly there already exists a
network of publications that tap into your Niche or Target Audience.

Tap into these publications, a few at a time, and you
will get an instant pulse on happenings online. Visit:

Top 100+ Online Newsletters:
http://emailexchange.org/newsletters.html

Remember, it is essential to begin your own mailing list of
people that AGREE to receive your email.

Perhaps once a week, with a word of interest, you send out a
mailing with info directly related to your common interest.

It is important to keep the lines of communication open
with your community of people.

But do NOT just send out ad upon ad. No one likes to be
bombarded with ads from others.

Send out information that will be informative and of interest.

This gives you a basic "Blue Print" to follow to either
begin to establish yourself on the Internet or expand
on whatever you have already accomplished.

The basic resources outlined above will give you a strong
foundation to discover WHERE to reach that special niche
or target audience of yours.

How a Cellphone can save your life!

Hi my name is Wendy and one night I left work and on my way home about 8:30 pm. I had reached the top of my hill and realized that a HUGE FIRE broke out in my neighbors home. The smoke was so thick it was overwhelming me inside my car on the street. I was the only person on the seen and grab my Cellphone and called 911. Then proceeded to drive past the house with flames. It was so HOT to get by I had to put the window up!
Well I got to a safe spot and got out. I met a friend who just walked up me. I said, "Patty, should I go in or ye
l for anyone?" I just can't stand here, knowing people may be inside! But realize it was to late to go into the house.

Patty and I didn't know all the people got out of the house safely. The fire broke out when a tenant left a hot iron on. The cat knocked it over, when the person went to work. The smoke and flames was so bad. I went home and closed all the windows which was 6 homes down. This house was old and had shingle material which I think has hazardous chemicals when the flames broke out.

The fireman then arrived! Thank god for them.

The moral of my story is to have a Cellphone for any emergency. Whether it be a Fire, Accident, Rape, Attack or stuck on the thruway.

The Art of Giving Great Service

Sales is tough to get right, and depends on retaining those customers, yet people do it badly and unprofessionally all the time. It's really not difficult to learn the art of good service, and if you get it perfect, you will see those rewards.

Let's look at an example of service from my point of view:

I usually buy a sandwich from one place only. I always go there, as I get top services and the sandwich is nice. I could go anywhere, but I choose to go to this place.

Price has nothing to do with
it. I can get a sandwich cheaper elsewhere, but the reason that I don't go elswhere is so simple, and it's scary that so many businesses fail to capitalise on this easy technique. The answer is that the guy knows what my order is I only have to walk in and they prepare my sandwich without asking what I want. I suppose speed of service is part of it - never much waiting in there but it saves me from repeating my order every time I want the same thing.

It's a nice little touch which is highly noticable by customers. Nothing major, but it shows they care about what they do. They are serious about service and yet it appears effortless, as if they aren't trying.

That's the secret of service. Make everything effortless in the customer's eyes.

Promotional bags – from budget to bespoke

Promotional bags can be vital to any marketing campaign whatever the budget.

Promotional bags are one of the most popular and effective forms of upfront advertising, able to suit every requirement – whatever the budget or marketing objective.

There is a huge array of styles and colours of promotional bags available, ranging from single compartment budget bags to more sophisticated multi-pocketed versions.

Companies looking for inexpensive promotional products will find a wide selection of decent quality promo
ional bags such as tote and drawstring bags. With prices starting at under ฃ1 per bag, these bags are a simple and economic way to create awareness of a company's promotional messageat exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, sporting or charity events, where they can be handed out fairly randomly in large numbers.

Sometimes, however, thequality of leads is more important than the quantity. In this case a smaller amount of more expensive promotional bags, like travel or sports bags, may be more appropriate. These can then be handed out on a more targeted basis.

At the top end of the price and quality spectrum, executive designer leather business and laptop bags offer a superior finish, touch of class and greater longevity.

It would be wrong to assume that all promotional bags have to be off-the-shelf items as even budget bags can be customised for maximum impact. Many suppliers will create bespoke bags for the same price as standard products, even for relatively low volumes.

All promotional bags offer excellent branding opportunities. From budget to bespoke, they make the perfect choice for companies looking for practical, stylish and cost effective marketing solutions.

4 Principles That Place Value On Your Mlm Business

HUGE EXPANDING MARKET:

It doesnt matter how good you are in an industry that is eroding. A thriving market is everything in any network marketing business.

UNIQUE CONSUMABLE PRODUCT:

If you dont have a unique product, you will always be competing on price and convenience. Who has the best price and who is closest to the customer? If you are unique in your product or service people will come to you. If you want repeat sales the product should be consumable. A non-consumable product means youre unemployed until
the next sale.

TIMING:

Timing trends is crucial. Throughout all cycles of the economy there are people who are making money and losing money. The makers are those in front of the trends; the losers disregard trends. How do you get in front of large trends? You must study what creates them. Without any hesitation in todays society its the Baby Boomer generation that creates the largest trends. In the USA 70,000,000 were born during that time period and a billion were born worldwide. Why is this group so talked about? Its because they represent only 1/3 of the US population but control 65% of all the money. So what will be the next big trends? (1) Health (2) Looking Younger (3) Education (4) Retirement (5) Security (6) Money, for example. If you want to be brilliantly compensated, you must focus on industries and companies that have positioned themselves at the front.

ABILITY TO CREATE LEVERAGE:

We are not taught leverage in our society. We are taught to get a good education, build a rsum and exchange our expertise for someone elses dollars. The problem with that is if we are not exchanging our expertise were not making any dollars. So vacation time is costly! A walk around a golf course is costly; family time, although extremely important, is costly!

The definition for Leverage is an increased means by which to attain something.
One form of leverage is investing $5,000,000 dollars and earning 10% interest on it. This will yield approximately $41,000 per month in income. So whether youre walking around a golf course, enjoying a vacation or family time, you still enjoy $41,000/month in income. Youre leveraging off your money; and thats leverage that everyone would like, but few enjoy.

In the right business vehicle it takes 200% to be successful: 100% from yourself and 100% from the business vehicle youve chosen; the correct vehicle that has all four of these principles.

Give the folks at Google What they Want

Recent developments on the Google front have gotten web marketers and SEO specialists talking even more than usual. What they're talking about is the changing Search Engine Optimization landscape. Some of the traditional assumptions about what gets good Google ranking have been challenged by things Google has said over the last few months -- especially by the filing of their most recent patent application.

A number of sensible suggestions have emerged about good SEO practice. Here is one of the most important:

1. Don't add links too quickly or all from one or two sources -- Google wants a "natural" linking pattern.

This is not a new suggestion, but Google seems to be prepared to penalize sites which engage in blatant link buying. Clearly this is targeted at services that sell links by the hundreds (or thousands). So one month a site has no links, and the next month it has 2,000 or 20,000 links from one or two "name" sites. Obviously these links have happened because of link buying.

Is Google trying to discourage all link buying? I don't think so. Links are just a form of advertising, and Google cannot discourage buying advertising without being blatantly inconsistent. Google itself is one of the primary sources of purchased web advertising, and it would be a blatant abuse of their dominant position to discriminate against smaller advertising networks who are offering a legitimate service to webmasters.

As I read the situation, what Google is trying to do is safeguard the integrity of their search results by ruling out massive overnight link purchases. We're talking thousands of links here. Without these safeguards, search results can be dramatically skewed by the practice of buying large chunks of links. There is clearly something wrong with a system that claims that link popularity is an indicator of site quality if a site suddenly has thousands of inbound links when just a week ago it had none.

This practice makes a mockery of the importance of links. Their only purpose is to exploit the system and make a dramatic impact on Page Rank and Search Engine positioning. Google wants Page Rank and search results to flow from website quality and relevance. And virtually all SEO experts have maintained that quality and relevance come fairly gradually as a site grows and its content develops. The "natural" development of links should happen more or less in lock step with the development of content.

This does not mean that the importance of links has been diminished. Just the opposite. Google is reconfirming their position that the number and quality of links pointing at specific web pages is the most significant indicator of the importance of that web page.

Nor does it mean that a webmaster should never buy links on legitimate websites. On the contrary, it means that links should be acquired and developed consistently and steadily over time, and that the quality of your link partners matters more than ever. This applies whether your links are the result of exchanges, purchases, blogging, article publishing, or any of the other established techniques for building traffic through linking.

When you are looking for link partners you should look at the quality of the sites linking back to you. Ask yourself how relevant is the content in the pages, what is the balance between content and links, how often are these pages updated, how much traffic do these pages get, do these pages link to "authority" sites like Google, Yahoo, eBay, Amazon, Microsoft.

All of these things matter more now than they ever have.

Effectiveness of branding promotional bags

Promotional bags are an effective way of building brand awareness and a useful way to attract new customers and rewarding loyal ones.

Promotional bags are an extremely effective means of advertising for any company, primarily used to reward loyal customers or to make an impression on prospective customers at events. Some of the most popular types of promotional bags are: business bags, laptop bags, promotional backpacks, sports bags, travel bags, tote
ags and cooler bags.

Anyone considering the use of promotional bags in their next marketing campaign should look into the added benefits of branding. Personalising promotional bags will make them stand out from the crowd, which is fundamental if the promotion's objective is to raise brand awareness.

In many ways, the choice of branding is just as important as the choice of bag. All promotional bags provide excellent overprinting opportunities with several low cost branding options available.

Screen printing offers the best value for adding a one- or two-colour logo to promotional bags, whereas transfer print is slightly more expensive but ideal for logos needing a four-colour print process. The low cost option in relation to perceived value is embroidering, which can accommodate six colours in any design.

Branding on leather promotional bags should ideally be subtle in line with the quality and intended use of the product. Options include foil blocking or blind embossing. In addition promotional bags can be further customised by the addition of metal and rubber badges or stitched-in labels.

With their combination of practicality, style, superior quality and cutting edge design, branded promotional bags are a perfect way for a company to demonstrate its commitment to excellence.

Mailing Lists: Where The Money's At

Picture this...

It's the middle of July in a bustling Metropolis. It's hot, but not the kind of heat that makes you sweat buckets. The kind of heat that forms an invisible adhesive layer over your entire body so that everything seams to stick to you.

SUDDENLY... The Big Advertising screen on one of the largest buildings in town *Bursts* into life! A picture of a cool refreshing berry-licious big gulp dances in mid air, promising to satisfy your every need! And there on the lonely street corner right below the screen sit
a seven eleven.

This, my friends is the power of the opt-in mailing list. It's like having a veritable endless bank account at your disposal. Any time you need a little cash, you pop up an advertisement and the orders come flooding in.

Sounds nice, doesn't it. But it doesn't have to be a fantasy. You have the ability to make this happen. You just need the knowledge. As they say, Knowledge is Power! Marketers need to stop looking to affiliate programs, Success promising software, and multi-level marketing for the answer to there income needs. You have the resources to be successful right in front of you, and guess what. Their FREE!

The first step in building an opt-in mailing list is to become a writer. That's right. What, did you think you could just ask people to sign up for your list for no apparent reason? People need a reason to join your list, they need to receive something in return. After all have you ever signed up for a list that said, "Sign up here FREE and I'll send you an advertisement every day!". Whooo Hoooo! Sign me up!

No, you need to offer them something they didn't have before. Information. A point of view. A complaint. Anything that sparks there interest. People enjoy hearing others opinions even if it's just someone ranting and raving. Just look at George Carlin, the comedian, he makes a good living complaining.

The best thing to do if your going to start a newsletter or e-zine as there known. Is to choose a topic that you are naturally enthused about. If you're a health nut, write a newsletter about healthy living and call it "Tofu and Power Bars". Or whatever gets you going.

By choosing a topic you already know about or enjoy you will give yourself a 2 fold advantage.

1. You will naturally put enthusiasm into you article which will make it a more enjoyable read.
2. You'll be able to offer an intelligent and informed view

There's nothing worse than listening to some half wit ramble on and on about a subject they know nothing about. Next you should look for products which are similar to your interest. In this case nutritional supplements or diet drinks. There are plenty of programs out there that will give you good commission to sell nutritional products. You just have to look.

After you've chosen a topic of interest and you've got some products to sell, you need to find a good newsletter management system. There are plenty of companies on the net that offer free newsletter management. Just go to your favorite search engine and type in "newsletter manager". Most free managers only allow so many subscribers, so once you start getting a serious following you may need to pay a minimal amount for a better manager.

Trust me, this is worth the small investment. When you have a big enough list you will be banking an income large enough to live off of. Start today by looking deciding upon a topic of interest and if you have time compare a few newsletter management systems.

"PRESS ON!"

The Myth of Persistence

In most cities across the country, one sure sign of persistence is facing the daily commute. Prime time commuters are superstars at the art of persistence. Most don't have a choice, so they face the daily crush with steeled nerves and tight jawed commitment.

Most salespeople believe that they don't have a choice, either. Worse yet, they have been taught to believe that nothing takes the place of persistence. That the price of success is dogged and determined tenacity.

There is a fine line between being persistent and be
ng obnoxious. Perhaps the most misunderstood and underutilized secret to selling anything is to understand the critical role that timing plays in successful sales. You see, customers and prospects buy when they are ready to buy, not when salespeople need to make a sale. Not when they are worn down by pesky salespeople.

I'll bet that whenever you have made a successful sale, no matter what you sell, there are certain essential characteristics that your new customer had. Here they are:
ท A need for your product or service
ท An awareness of the need for it
ท A sense of urgency about obtaining it.

It was not your dogged determination to pursue them to the end of the earth to either (a) create a need, (b) make them aware of it or (c) create a sense of urgency that made them buy. In fact, I'll suggest this to you. If, after three attempts to secure an appointment with a prospect you are still getting the brush-off, find another prospect!

Invest your time with the right people. But you're probably asking this: "How do I make sure my non-responsive prospect doesn't buy from a competitor while I'm out talking with someone else?"

Good question. The truth is that the very prospect who scorned you will likely become a qualified prospect at some time in the future. That person may even be a highly qualified prospect right now. But not for you.

The secret is to develop tools that will allow your prospect to respond to you when they are ready, interested and motivated to do so. We call this Permission Based prospecting. A far cry from bothersome phone calls, staged drop-in visits and thinly veiled and contrived networking events, this process is proactive and positive.

How do you do this? Start with a good contact management software system. Then go ahead and develop a strategy of frequent yet unobtrusive ways to stay in touch with your key prospects. Worry more about qualitative, value laden contacts than a pure volume of bothersome phone calls.

Give some serious thought to providing your prospects valuable information they can use rather than simply trying to persuade them that they need to see you. Newsletters, postcards, reports, information of value, audio tapes, video tapes and other items that help them to do what they do even better are some great ways to stay in front of prospects in positive, productive and powerful ways.

The real secret is to give prospects a chance to respond to your varied offers. Be sure to include a fax-back form, 800 phone number, response card with pre-paid postage or even a return E-Mail address that will allow your prospects to respond to you when they see how you can help them solve problems or work through challenges they face on a daily basis.

This strategy will yield a more positive perception, enhanced receptivity and a greater sense of professional acceptance. It is also far more sophisticated; is less heavy-handed and far more likely to be successful than the traditional idea of believing that personal persistence really does pay off.

Evaluating Your Event

Evaluate Immediately! It is important to do your evaluation/assessment of the event while the details are fresh in your mind. Include anyone in the evaluation process that had a stake in the event. Stakeholders would include vendors, hired staff, volunteers and employers. You could host a debriefing session or a wrap up meeting to accomplish this task. Make this a pleasant experience. Include refreshments and lots of kudos (thank you's for a job well done). Prior to, or when the meeting begins, enlist a "scribe" to record
the comments and answers from the group. Ask yourself and them the following questions:

ท Did the event fulfill the goals and objectives set forth?

ท What worked? What didn't? What would you do differently? The same?

ท Did the event run smoothly and on schedule?

ท Which vendors/stakeholders should be hired/recruited again?

ท Were any items missing from the checklist that should be included in future events?

ท Did you generate favorable publicity for the event?

ท How was attendance? Were the attendance goals achieved?

ท Did you receive positive feedback from those who attended? Did you use formal (written, documented forms or one on one surveys) or informal (chatting in the restrooms, lines, seminars, etc.) methods of evaluation?

ท What could you do differently, better to reach your goals? To involve more people? To spread the word about the event?

ท Was the event worth doing? What were some of the benefits? Would you do it again?

Encourage alternative forms of feedback from those unable to attend, such as via e-mail, website and fax back forms. Once you have received feedback from the group, have the notes transcribed for distribution to all the stakeholders (clients). Be sure to include this in the event portfolio for future reference. Proper evaluating of the event will lead to even greater success in the future. In fact, it is important to evaluate all aspects of business from time to time. Otherwise, how and when would you know what needs to be improved? One final thought; make sure you get feedback from attendees. And here's a key question to ask, especially if it is an event that is open to the public: How did you hear about this event?

What An Advertising Legend Has To Say About The Direct-Response Vs. General Advertising Debate

David Ogilvy speaks out...

Today I have a real treat for you. A video from a true advertising legend. But before we go there…let's cover some background information…

The term "Direct-Response Marketing" or "Direct Marketing" may only be 46 or so years old (when Lester Wunderman gave birth to it) but the actual application of Direct-Response methods have been in practice for hundreds of years.

In fact, according to Direct Marketing professionals Denny Hatch and Don Jackson, direc
marketing dates back to 1600 when garden catalogs were sold direct to the consumer.

During my years of consulting on marketing and advertising projects and writing copy for companies around the world I've had the direct-response vs. general marketing/advertising debate countless times.

What's the debate all about? Well, in summary it goes like this…

General advertising is what you see most of the time on the TV, in newspapers and magazines. They consist of amazingly creative advertisements that people often feel are "cool." They get your attention and are widely accepted as being what advertising is all about. I should also mention that most awards are for these kind of ads. The goal here it seems is to do something different and be more creative. Unfortunately, with general advertising you often have no idea how effective each ad or promotion is. You may know that a campaign helped to increase sales, but potential success will never reach a maximum because strict tracking and testing lacks.

On the other side of the coin is Direct-Response. This approach is to communicate directly with your prospect and get them to take action…whether that means having them read a report, contacting you for more information, coming to a seminar or buying your product. Direct-Response is measured to the penny. Variations of headlines, images, offers, guarantees and more are tested…calculating results is common practice and allows you to know which ad or promotion directly benefits your bottom line.

Many in general advertising stay away from direct-response. They know very little about it and don't want to. It's not creative enough or seems to 'foreign'.

It really is a whole other world.

You see with direct-response success isn't a matter of creativity, or design appeal or even how well you write and your grammar for that matter. Direct-Response success is measured in sales and profit. And your ad or promotions are tested and tracked…leading to the ad with the highest ROI becoming your control which you test other ads against.

This ensures you have the most profitable ad running…and reduces the amount of money you spend on advertising that may or may not be working at its best.

If you know anything about me, you'll know I'm a huge advocate of Direct-Response marketing. I love that fact that you can scientifically test and know what is working and what isn't.

Many companies have good intentions…but it's too bad so many still spend their hard earned cash on a guessing game…hoping their ads will pay off.

I don't know about you, but I prefer knowing what will work and then making adjustments to ensure it does.

Here's another reason I love direct-response. Because for a few hundred dollars you can know whether or not a product or service will work. You don't have to spend tens of thousands of dollars just to find out.

That's smart investing don't you think?

What I'm writing here definitely isn't new. Click the link below and watch what David Ogilvy, one of the fathers of Advertising, has to say about this debate.

Content Creation Secrets For Infopreneurs

The most important asset of your infopreneur business, the reason people would want to do business with you, is your content.

It doesn't matter

- what your infopreneur business is about

- or how pretty your packaging looks

- or that you administer it excellently

- or that you are the top expert in your area

- or that you have hundreds of pages on your website

The most important thing is the content you provide your audience. You'll be judged harshly by your readers, viewers and listeners. M
ny of them will come into contact with you for the first time, by accidentally stumbling across your website.

You must strive to overwhelm them with exceptionally good content. Doing this is the only trick in your bag to impress them, and then keep them happy, satisfied and wanting more.

In the infopreneur publishing world, "Content is King". If you provide content of a consistently superior quality, your business will be a success. But then you already knew this! What you are looking for as you read this article is useful information about becoming an infopreneur.

So, how do infopreneurs develop content? They do it in 3 ways - create it, syndicate it or buy content.

You can create it.

This is the simplest way, if you are capable of creating content quickly and easily. If you are a good writer, then you can write your own articles, special reports and course material. If you have a good speaking voice and access to recording equipment, you can easily come up with audio information products. And with slightly more complex apparatus, you can record video presentations, live events, seminars and coaching bootcamps - making a multimedia version of your information product.

You can syndicate it.

In case you are not able to come up with your own information products on a regular sustainable basis, you can always licence, rent or borrow content others have created.

Some content syndication services specifically create content for the purpose of licencing and syndicating them for others to use. This benefits the content creator by giving them access to a wider audience than they can reach on their own. And you, as an infopreneur, can benefit too by saving time and effort involved in coming up with fresh content by yourself.

You can buy it.

Content creation for hire, either exclusively for your use or as part of a private label content package is another option for those not able to create their own content.

You can get an expert involved in creating content for you, and then put that material to use in your information marketing efforts. This helps you leverage off the knowledge and effort of someone else, while using the valuable content generated in your business.

Which method you choose to use is based on many factors like your skills, time availability and budget for business development. But regardless of what you do, remember that the quality of content you present your audience is ultimately your responsibility - no one else's.

You and your business will be judged on the basis of the quality of content and information you provide. Make sure that impression is a good one - and use only high quality content.

Keeping Constant Market Contact to Strengthen Your Brand

Strengthening your product;s brand through continuous contact with your market

Continuity. Business continuity. Contact continuity.

If you look it up, continuity means constant chain of sequence. In marketing, it means continuous chain of your marketing campaign throughout the whole year.

It is all about continuity of your relationship with your clients and prospects. When you want your business to flourish, you need to create an environment of you delivering what you have
romised and getting your clients to purchase your product or avail of your service.

This is why you should always make it a point to continue with your marketing campaigns such as your flyer printing pieces and advertising posters. You just cannot stop them from circulating even if you have reached a point where you had enough leads to boost your business.

And even if the season's over for your kind of products, it does not hurt to still continue advertising so that when your time comes that your target clients need you you are already there at the top of their minds.

Think about how you will be able to create a marketing campaign that will help you to continue providing your services to your clients and new prospects. Your clients have already tried it so it would not be too hard for you to promote with a repeat purchase as your expected outcome. Making a follow through even when you are not needed can go a long way in creating a more stable and solid relationship with your clients.

Mind you, you might find out that only a few of your clients would actually act according to your message. A few might even be encouraged to buy from you again which will create returning profits for your business. And it may take off a few dollars from your company coffers, but continuity in your marketing campaign can go along way in making sure that you maintain your customer base.

If you have to, you can do it on a monthly basis. Always remember that if you do it consistently, it would definitely increase the flow of your return of investment. Especially if you have a product that needs to be advertised continuously. It would surely get you a significant increase in your profits.

The key here is to keep your contact with your target audience constantly. By doing so, you not only strengthen your position in your market, but most importantly, you solidify your brand and position in your clients' minds by having them rely on your for their needs.
